The Florida Parent-Educators Association (FPEA)
exists solely to serve homeschooling families in Florida. The FPEA executes
that mission through support for the legal right to homeschool, local school
board education and interaction, support group networking, a state
convention, local conferences and events, informative communications, and
most importantly, by giving individual encouragement.

The North Atlantic Regional High School is located in
Lewiston, Maine. NARHS is a state-authorized private school, recognized by
the Department of Education, and fully accredited by the National Private
Schools Association. For homeschool families, parents decide and
direct the content of each course, while fulfilling the requirements for
each specific high school credit. Once the student has acquired the
necessary credits, he or she is eligible for a high school diploma. Students
graduate with varying numbers of high school credits according to their
ability, ambition, and academic goals.
Students working on their high school courses are allowed to work at their
own pace; there are no speed limits here. Students are allowed to go as fast
as they like, or as slow as they need.

Clubs
Civil Air Patrol
The Civil Air Patrol has been a
wonderful addition to our homeschooling. Our fourteen-year-old son
joined this past year with the
desire to fly as his main motive, but in light of all the other aspects of
the CAP, we, his parents, are very impressed with the maturity and
discipline our son has already begun to develop.
The weekly meetings combine aeronautics lessons,
physical training, moral leadership, and military discipline in a way that
is interesting and effective. My son has enjoyed being able to move up
the ranks with the challenges to better his character as well as to learn
about flying. The extra "off base" activities also have been helpful
to our son in
leadership training and community involvement.
For our son, CAP has been a great experience, and one
we can highly recommend. Lisa Cannon
Sea Cadets
The best thing about the U.S. Naval
Sea Cadet Corps program is the variety of educational opportunities
available. My son, who has an interest in the military, has had the
chance to work at a Naval Air Station on the flight line and to work with
military police at Master At Arms training. He plans to pursue more
aviation training in the future.
With her interest in pursuing a medical career, my
daughter has had the chance to work in a Naval Hospital, assisting in the
rounds of the hospital medics. In the future, she plans to
attend music training with the Navy band and additional medical training
including
surgeon's assistant, field medic, and nurse courses.
The Sea Cadets has allowed my children to grow in
confidence, self-discipline, and physical fitness. With so many
different areas that cadets can explore, Sea Cadets is unparalleled among
youth programs. I highly recommend Sea Cadets to all boys and
girls,
whether they are interested in the military or not!

The Lord has given us the opportunity to take many athletes, coaches, and
parents on short-term mission trips that have impacted their lives greatly
for God's glory. So, with that being said, I wanted to let you know that we
are always looking for individual athletes and entire teams who want to take
part in a trip. On the trips, the players will an opportunity to experience
another culture, play basketball against quality foreign competition, and
use their God-given abilities to honor Christ's name and share His gospel.

trip with SCORE would look like please visit:
