Welcome to Brevard Heat
Brevard HEAT (Home Educators Activities
Teams) is designed
to assist homeschool parents in Brevard County who desire their children to
participate in extra-curricular activities with quality instruction in a moral
environment.
We are a member of Florida High School Activities
Association and offer various Varsity and Jr. High sports to homeschool
students. This allows homeschooled students to compete on a team of their own.
|
On average,
homeschool students in grades 1-4 perform one grade level higher
than their public and private school counterparts. By grade 8, the
average homeschool student performs four grade levels above the
national average.

Characteristics of Home School Students in 1998
